Normative and democratic theory applied to the design of actual systems. ## Data and instruments I work with A postgres mirror of the Reddit comment dumps. A news corpus of roughly 1.36 billion articles, 2016 to 2026, multilingual and matched to events. Decades of General Social Survey data. V-Dem. German electoral geography: polling results with coordinates, tested against municipal, district, dialect, confessional and historical partitions including the former inner-German border. Meta platform data, which I can work with but cannot share.
